Along with your theme what are the colors that suit best.  What is the room used for.  Don’t limit your thinking. Will it be a guest bedroom, a den, an office, a library, a play room, etc.

Shop around for good quality paint, furniture and accessories.  Quality lasts.

Check your budget and shop around.  There are many outlets, auctions, etc.
