One way to invest in property if you have a small budget is to buy a cheap house and then fix it up.  Or you can look for a house that has not been completed yet and complete the inside or outside yourself.  You can find older houses that need repair.  Most places if not to bad, can be repaired over time as you make more money to spend on remodeling.  Plus don’t forget as you pay down your mortgage you are getting equity.
